Flood: UNICEF rallies humanitarian assistance for 2.5 million Nigerians
The United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF) has warned that no fewer than 2.5 million Nigerians are in need of humanitarian assistance. Sixty per cent are children and at increased risk of waterborne diseases, drowning and malnutrition, due to the most severe flooding in the past decade.
