TimeBender Fest to hold on May 25

The capital city of Rivers State, Port Harcourt, will be bustling with excitement on Children’s Day as the TimeBender Fest, a yearly children’s fiesta and watch party, will be held on Saturday, May 25, at the Golden Tulip Hotel.

The event, organised by Amaranthine Media Production Studios, will feature animated film screenings, a fun red carpet, live performances, thrilling games, awesome prizes, and numerous side attractions for children.

The Convener of the TimeBender Fest and Creative Director at Amaranthine Media Production Studios, Jennifer Nkem-Eneanya, stated that the fest aligns with the studio’s mission of spreading joy and building a wholesome community known as the TimeBender Tribe. She highlighted that the fest stands out from other children’s parties by offering attendees the unique experience of being the first to view new episodes of the Kiliwe, the TimeBender animated series and its new spinoff, Kobi’s Kicks. The inaugural TimeBender Fest debuted in May 2023, and this year’s event promises to be even bigger and better.

Recall that on May 27 each year, Nigeria celebrates Children’s Day to raise awareness of issues affecting children and to protect their rights. Established in 1964, this special holiday is observed by people and organisations across Nigeria. Although the United Nations (UN) designates November 20 as Children’s Day, the celebration occurs on different dates worldwide.
