The Central Bank of Nigeria’s office in Calabar, the capital city of Cross River State, has been hit by an explosion.

The cause of the explosion is yet to be ascertained.

But the Guardian learnt that scores of people who suffered different degrees of burns have been rushed to the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Calabar.
