A group in Igala under the auspices of Ufedo Foundation has called on the Federal Government to immortalise the former Minister of State for Labour and Employment, James Ocholi (SAN), who died in a ghastly auto accident recently, by developing and enforcing road safety codes and standards in Nigeria.
A statement issued yesterday by the President of the Foundation, Mr. Abdul Audu, made available to journalists in Kaduna said the call has become imperative, as avoidable road crashes have claimed many lives on Nigerian roads.
According to Audu, “Nigeria and the Igala Kingdom in particular, have lost a hero and a beacon of hope in Barrister James Enejo Ocholi. He died when the Igala nation, Kogi State and Nigeria needed him most.”
