The Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha, has approved the appointment of Dr. Sam Amadi, as board chairman of Imo State Power and Rural Electricity Agency (I-POREA).He also approved the appointment of executive heads of four state-owned agencies.

In separate statements, yesterday, signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Chibuike Onyeukwu, he said their appointment takes immediate effect.

Others are — Engr. Solomon Opara; Engr. Uzoma Achinanya; Barr. Mrs. Ozioma Izuora; Barr. Ani Eke; Engr. Celestine Opurum and Francis Chisa Alaegbu.

Those appointed into the agencies are —Commander Ohiri Ikechukwu Chris, Chief Executive Officer – Imo State Traffic Management Agency; Martin Chinagorom Opara, Director General – Imo State Orientation Agency; Chime Aliliele -Executive Chairman – Imo State Pensions Commission and Uche Bana, an Engineer- Chief Executive Officer – Imo State Facility Management Agency.
