The Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) yesterday applauded President Muhammadu Buhari and the leadership of the National Assembly for returning the nation to a January-December budget cycle, even as it also expressed satisfaction over the signing into law of the 2020 budget.

The forum’s chairman and Governor of Kebbi State, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, in a statement, described the development as historic and capable of enthroning predictability and certainty in public financial management, macroeconomic projections and project execution.
