Nigeria risks losing 200,000 barrels of oil daily if the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) shuts Agip Oil Company for alleged anti-labour practices as threatened

It accused the multinational of high headiness, subtle threats and denial of members to the company’s facilities.

In a statement yesterday, the oil workers issued a seven-day notice for redress of their grievances.

Contacted, the firm’s Media Relations Manager, Tajudeen Adigun, said he was in meeting and could not get back after more calls and text messages.
