
Osinbajo also urged the Imo people to give the governor the needed support to move the state forward.
At the occasion witnessed by scores of elected and appointed officials, the Vice President urged the governor not to be deterred in delivering more democracy dividends to the people of the state, urging the road users to appreciate the infrastructure.
Meanwhile, the Vice President has condemned the invasion and subsequent bombing of the Nigerian Correctional Service and police facilities in Owerri.
He expressed dismay over the incident after inspecting the destroyed facilities, noting that the perpetrators must not go scot-free.
Osinbajo, who regretted that some persons were destroying facilities put in place by the government despite all the efforts to enhance the welfare of the citizenry, ordered that the perpetrators should be dealt with.
