An entrepreneur has urged women to explore and harness the recycling business for sustainability.
   
Chief Executive Officer, JD Recycling, Olaide Ayodele, gave the advice at a free training for women in Lagos. 
 
Noting that there were few players in recycling, which she described as a goldmine, she said the sector needed more hands to save the environment by turning waste into wealth.
 
The training, which was organised by her company, was aimed to empower women to cope with the pandemic and support their families. 

The women had practical training sections of converting tyres to fashionable cushions, making of Ankara key holders and digital marketing training. They also got information on where to source raw materials, accessories and decorations at an affordable rate.
