Gunmen abduct NAPPS chair, wife in Delta

Unknown gunmen have kidnapped the Chairman, National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS), Deacon Monday Ifoghere and his wife on Sunday evening.

The Guardian learnt that the victims were abducted on their way to Eku around 7:00 p.m. at Kokori town, in Ethiope East Council of Delta State.

Sources said the assailants are yet to contact the family members or demand ransom after they were whisked away to an unknown destination.

It was also gathered that the community vigilante has been contacted to go after the abductors to rescue the victims unhurt.

Contacted, the State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, said the Police are on trail of the kidnappers.
