Kano State Government has sought the support of the Ethiopian government to develop its agro processing zones. Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Hassan Fagge, stated, yesterday, that the state’s delegation was in Ethiopia, in continuation of the study tour to Special Agro Processing Zone (SAPZ) in the East African country to boost the state’s agro processing hub.

“We are here (Ethiopia) to seek greater cooperation with you on how to develop our SAPZ.

“Kano government is highly committed towards establishing its SAPZ hub at Bagauda to boost its economy, support smallholder farmers and strengthen the drive to attract investors,” Gawuna said.
