Retirees in Rivers State, yesterday, lamented alleged failure by the state government to pay them pension arrears and gratuity.
The state coordinator of pensioners, Lucky Ati, who spoke to newsmen in Port Harcourt, expressed concern over their welfare, noting that so many of them have died, and their children sent of out school.
Ati said pensioners would support the presidential ambition of Governor Nyesom Wike if he pays their seven years pension arrears and as well place those who have not been placed on arrears.
