Says it’s barbaric, evil to beat wife
The National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Bishop Wale Oke, has decried spousal abuses and violence in marriage, saying the evil must stop forthwith. 

Bishop Oke emphasised that it was barbaric, evil and wrong for a man to beat his wife, adding that a man that loves his wife will not kill her. 

The cleric made the admonition during the wedding of Adetunmike Adeyemi and Victor Ajibola at The Sword of the Spirit Ministries, Olaogun in Ibadan. 

He stressed that the church must take a position on the menace of spousal abuse.
