
The Benue State Security Council has pledged a N5 million reward for anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mr. Terwase Akwaza, alias Ghana, who has been declared wanted for various crimes in the state.
Briefing journalists shortly after the state security council meeting presided over by Governor Samuel Ortom yesterday, the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Bem Melladu said such information could be sent through text message or telephone calls to 08066006475, 070 673749913, and 080 36363531, as well as reporting directly to security agencies.
The state government appealed to the people to volunteer information that would lead to the arrest of the wanted man and his gang members.
The council directed the state commissioner of police to review the case of the abduction and killing of Rev Fr. John Adeyi so that his killers would be prosecuted.
The police commissioner was also charged to check the activities of illegal timber dealers in the state.
