The founder and CEO of the WahalaNetwork blog, Kristen Dawodu, in a new chat asserted that the joy of running his popular blog is indescribable.
“There’s absolutely no feeling like you posting on your page and your followers immediately engage; it is very euphoric. This is the feeling I have every time I post on the Wahala Network blog or its social media,” he said during a recent media chat.
Affirming that the philosophy of WahalaNetwork either the website, wahalanetworkblog.com or its Instagram account, @wahalanetwork is mainly to entertain its audience with gist, entertainment updates and funny content, Dawodu said further: “WahalaNetwork doesn’t post updates that cause enhance depression for the audience.”
The multidimensional entrepreneur who owns KD Record and Studio further avowed that he enjoys the kind of engagement social media brings to his blog.
“At times, people randomly post and tag WahalaNetwork; some beg for a repost. Some people even share content I don’t believe I can ever see online content which by the way goes against Instagram guidelines and, most importantly, some pay to post their content,” he disclosed.
Noting that blogging, is like a rose with thorns, KD (as he is popularly referred to by friends and fans) said: “The most attractive side of this is we put a smile on our followers’ faces; the downside is the Instagram algorithm sometimes we have lots of followers that engage and sometimes it seems our followers don’t see our content.”
He also gave an update on KD Record, the music enterprise he founded in 2015 before he emigrated to America. “Presently, all plans concerning KD Record as a brand have been put on hold because of misappropriation of funds meant for entertainment and promotions. The record label will be back soon in the Afrobeat market. The comeback will start from my next visit to Nigeria,” he explained.
The WahalaNetwork blog CEO further refuted misleading facts about his background. “I tell people I am neither an MC nor a comedian. I don’t know where they got that news from,” he clarified.
