Not fewer than 102 groups in Zamfara State have expressed their confidence in the leadership of Governor Bello Matawalle, as they voluntarily contributed to buying him a nomination form to re-contest for the 2023 governorship.

Specifically, they jointly contributed N50 million for the All Progressives Congress (APC) form, which will be presented to him today.

In a statement, yesterday, the Publicity Secretary of Zamfara APC, Yusuf Gusau, noted that members of the party, friends and admirers were invited to witness the epoch event.

The statement also implored members of the party to be at the Eid prayer ground, Gusau, where the event will hold in the morning.

According to the statement, the chairman of the party, Tukur Danfulani, while thanking the groups, assured them that the APC government in the state would continue to provide the most deserved leadership.
