
Tela in a statement issued by his Press Secretary, Sani Mua’zu on Friday, said, “The attention of Baba Tela has been drawn to fake news on social media to the effect that he has resigned his position. The statement/report on social media is a figment of the imagination of the writer.
“For the avoidance of doubt, we would like to assure the peace-loving and hard-working people of Bauchi State, in particular, and the nation in general, that Sen. Tela has not resigned as the Deputy Governor of Bauchi State.”
He added that Tela remained committed to the objectives and ideas of the government of Bauchi State under the leadership of Bala Mohammed.
He reiterated his support and loyalty to the Governor and warned rumourmongers, who were based on causing disharmony in the state to desist from such acts.
