Nigerians urged to vote in 2023 for lasting solution to nation’s problems

Following the diverse socio-economic and political challenges threatening Nigeria’s corporate existence, the need to extensively discuss and proffer plausible solutions to the problems formed the focal point of the Nigeria Info Nationwide Round Table Conference for 2022.

The speakers, including Head of News, Nigeria Info (Lagos), Ufuoma Egbamuno; Programme Manager, Nigeria Info (Abuja), Femi Amele; News Correspondent, Nigeria Info (Abuja), Ayobami XYZ; News Reporter, Nigeria Info (Lagos), Emmanuel Onwuka and On-Air Personality (OAP), Nigeria Info (Port Harcourt), Ifiemi Andrews, stressed the need for Nigerians to be actively involved in the 2023 general elections to find a lasting solution to the myriad of challenges hindering the development of the nation.

It is on this premise that the nationwide broadcast covered diverse issues ranging from the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) strike to crippling inflation, 2023 national elections and readiness of the emergency-control services in Nigeria.

Commenting on the response rate in handling of emergency-related situations, Egbamuno observed that government at the state and federal levels needs to be more responsive in handling building collapses.

Riding on the backdrop of the issues impeding the nation’s overall growth, Amele stated that the continuous strikes within the Nigerian educational sector were constantly demarketing public tertiary institutions.

Speaking on the impact of the rising inflation rate across the federation, Wemimo Adewuni pointed out that this negative economic trend has a massive effect on living standard of average Nigerians.
