The Local Government Pensioners Association in Ogun State (LOGPAN) has said that contrary to the erroneous belief that the association was at loggerhead with the state government, there is a cordial relationship between it and the Governor Dapo Abiodun-led administration.

The state Chairman of LOGPAN, Sikiru Ayilara, who spoke with newsmen shortly after a meeting with the governor, yesterday, commended him for agreeing to look into the issue of pension harmonisation in the state.

Ayilara, while thanking the governor for fulfilling the promise of releasing N500 million quarterly for the payment of gratuities in the state, urged him to review the payment, which he said, would help to fast-track the payment of gratuities to its members.
