One common thing with people who have vision or run with goals is that they set targets for themselves, and are always not tired of setting goals after goals.

They are driven by their achievements to further chase new milestones. When one is attained, they raise the bar in order to achieve the next. One who is constantly driven by his exploits is Austyn David Nwaora, the CEO of Suave Properties Limited and Director at Bentell Properties Limited.

Born to a business-focused father in 1989, in the northern Nigerian state of Kano, Austyn David Nwaora has become one of the youngest and most successful entrepreneurs in the Nigeria real estate industry. He is synonymous with success, that his goals are his motivation.

Nwaora was introduced into real estate by his father at the age of 19, and ever since, has not looked back. He has displayed sheer innovation, creativity, rough business mindset, determination and dedication to the course over the years–with the attributes helping him stay in the industry, before the attention it gets today.

The 33-year-old began his career at Bentell Properties Limited–owned by his father, where he worked and displayed the intelligence that earned him the position of a director in the company.

However, Nwaora set out to start his own venture, the Suave Enterprises, which deals in building and selling of properties, contracted construction of infrastructure, and the rendering of interior furnishing and decoration for a wide range of clients and customers.

Nwaora is from Anambra State but was born in Kano, where he had his primary education. He left Kano for Abuja in 1998 to pursue the dream of becoming a thriving property investor at that young age.

For his first degree, Nwaora went to the University of Ibadan, where he read philosophy, and later went to Nile University of Nigeria, Abuja, for his master’s degree in international relations and diplomacy. He recently completed his PhD in political science with specialisation in international political economy from the same institution in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

One of the things that have helped the young entrepreneur to keep thriving is innovation, which stems from his frequent travels. In one of his interviews, Nwaora revealed that travelling has had a massive impact on his career, adding that “I enjoy travelling, for I believe that in travelling one gets to experience new cultures, assimilate eccentric exposure, and see the beauty of the world”.

In one of his recent posts on social media, he revealed the mindset of business people, stating that success is sustained by that “doctrine.”

“Every finish line is the beginning of a new race. The very concept of success is wanted and sustained by this sublime doctrine. Cheers,” he wrote.

While speaking recently, Nwaora attributed his achievements in the sector to doggedness, God and hard work.

“Be stubborn in the pursuit of your goals, but flexible about your methods”, Austyn David attributes his success to sheer belief in himself and in possibilities yet to be attained. “Indeed, I owe my success to God, hard work, versatility and doggedness,” he stated.
