Jackson Irorere known as Chase X and now known as 8figurez is a successful cinematographer and filmmaker based in South Africa who has now delved into music to redefine the meaning of rap in this part of the world.

8figurez has been making quite a name for himself as of late to be regarded as one of the most sought-after creatives on the scene today. The Nigerian-born storyteller delved into music and his set to make bold statements with his debut song set for November 2022.

The Nigerian success can be seen in the literary world, sports, medical field, Information Technology Communication, and entertainment to mention but a few throughout the diaspora.

And 8figurez who is making Nigeria proud in the film/movie industry in faraway South Africa is set to take it to another level after revealing his new mission in the music industry.

The rapper told Lambo Xtra on Twitter (via @lamboxtra) that he started developing an interest in music for a long time but film and motion picture work took the better part of him, but now he has decided to show the world his talent.

8figurez revealed that he’s working on many music projects and his fans will enjoy what he’s been putting together.

The Delta born who graduated with a Mathematics degree from Delta State University also attended the prestigious ORMS Cape Town School Of Photography.

He had shot projects, ranging from short films to music videos, and documentaries/interviews in South Africa. These defining career moments earned him the title of one of the most sought-after cinematographers in South-South Nigeria.
