A Coalition of All Progressives Congress (APC) for Good Governance yesterday threw their weight behind Tinubu-Shettima movement.

Speaking at the occasion of National Presidential endorsement in Abuja, Wednesday,  the coalition vowed to ensure that the Presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu wins the 2023 general elections.

The Former Minister of Communication and Director-General, Asiwaju Tinubu Presidential Campaign, Dr Abdur- Raheem Adebayo Shittu while speaking at the event in Abuja, expressed gratitude to the Forum of APC Northern Governors for their collective endorsement of their leader.

He said: “As a mark of divine approval, countless groups of patriotic citizens and loyal APC members from all parts of Nigeria came together to establish various electoral campaign groups for Asiwaju Tinubu.

“We are glad and proudly affirm that no less than 1000 of such support groups currently operate as members of APC coalition.

Shittu noted that the lifting of restrictions on campaigns by INEC in September, signaled the formal commencement of rigorous campaign as it is billed to be carried out in all states and local government areas of the country.

He however noted that  in the course of the campaign, the party shall engage in “train the trainers” workshop, utilizing some uniquely identified campaign experts from Kano and Jigawa states.

He said: “Trainees would include representatives of various member support groups of this coalition to be trained in ways of mobilizing grassroots towards ultimately and effectively voting for the APC Presidential candidate.”

The highlight of the event was the unveiling of what the party called “Re-birth Manifesto” which the D.G said was prepared by 80 members made up of 10 retired Generals from National Security Service, lawyers, doctors, accountants and several retired civil servants.
