CCIC to give grant to small-scale entrepreneurs

To support small-scale businesses in Nigeria, Christ Chapel International Churches (CCIC), as part of its forthcoming 40th anniversary, has unveiled plans to award millions to 10 entrepreneurs.
   
This was disclosed at a media parley in Lagos by the Chairman of, Church Advisory Council, Dan Ibekwe.
 
Ibekwe said the grant would be shared among the church members who need some capital to upscale their businesses.
 
He added that another major activity during the celebration would be the 2022 CCIC Camp Meeting, with the theme: Possessing Your Promised Land, which would be held from October 25 to October 30. 
 
He prayed for peace in Nigeria and urged all citizens to ensure they have their Permanent Voters’ Card (PVC) to vote in the forthcoming elections.  
 
He also called on Christians to participate in politics. 
 
Ibekwe reiterated the importance of churches in society, which could equip people with the gospel and character.
 
The Chairman, of the 40th Anniversary Planning Committee, Funminiyi Odetayo, reeling out plans for the celebration, said that the church would donate one kilowatt of the solar inverter to Bode Thomas Police station to power their equipment.

He added that they would also embark on a portable water project in Muritala Ajadi Animashaun Community Secondary School, Surulere.
 
According to him, medical outreach and welfare would be made available to Ilasa community, a Correctional Centre and three orphanages as a way to give back to society.
 
He noted that other zones, such as Ibadan, Calabar, Abuja and Port Harcourt, would simultaneously embark on same projects. 
 
Some of the speakers at the camp meeting would include Revd. Tunde and Ebun Joda, Pastor Jerry Eze, Poju Oyemade, Nkechi Ene, and others.
