Seeks Sanwo-Olu’s intervention

The Alakoso of Epe Kingdom, Omodele Ibrahim, yesterday, accused Lagos State Judiciary of forceful and illegal possession of his parcel of land located at KLM Housing Estate, opposite Epe Grammar School, Epe, Lagos State.

He, however, appealed to Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to intervene over the matter so that Lagos State Ministry of Justice and the state judiciary could return his land without any further hesitation.

He said that he bought the land 10 years ago and had done the perimeter fencing but surprisingly, Lagos State Judiciary suddenly laid claim to it.

When contacted on the allegation, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Ministry of Justice said that the taskforce on land-grabbing would be in better position to comment on the issue.

Also, Coordinator of the committee, Owolabi Arole, said he could not comment except the ministry through the PRO.
