50 days to Christmas

The rainbow themed season is here again and for a lot of people all over the world irrespective of religion, Christmas is the most beautiful season for a lot of reasons beyond the multiple decoration colours that fill the spaces.

For non- Christians, it is in the peculiarity of the glowing atmosphere that Christmas bestows on mother earth, while others see it as the end of the year-long holiday season to take a break, breathe and just relax.

For Christians, it is basically the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ with all the symbolic significance attached to their existence, belief and religion.

So, of course, Christmas is a big deal for Christians all over the world. That is the reason a number of believers start prepping for the celebration of this festivity a couple of months before the D-day, December 25.

Ever wondered why an entire ‘season’ is attached to this festival? Because long before the 25th of December, Christians are already in a festive mood, pimping their homes with Christmas trees and accessories and buying new dresses and gifts for loved ones and the less privileged.

In some parts of the world, the celebration of the season starts with thanksgiving about a month or more to Christmas Day, which is the secular festival that ignites the celebratory spirit in people.

So, if you’re yet to purchase your Christmas trees and accessories for decoration, you’re running late, even at 50-day to go. You may want to go to the nearest Christmas store.

The good news is that despite the global economic downturn, Christmas trees and their accessories are quite affordable everywhere without the need to break into a bank.
