What happens when citizens of Wakanda and Nigeria come together in one space? Simple: an indigenous entertainment/fashion event that would make you call your fashion designer and beg him/her to step up your traditional outfits game.

The red carpet for ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ was a work of art as both international and local celebrities struck a pose wearing outfits that heavily echoed Afrofuturism. We saw an elevated interpretation of the Dora Milaje outfits, a mix of several local prints and royal glamour.
