Over 300 Nigerians stranded in India to arrive Abuja today, says NEMA

National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is expected to fly in about 300 stranded Nigerians from India, through Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport today.

The development is in line with recent approval by President Muhammadu Buhari for evacuation of stranded Nigerians from United Arab Emirates (UAE) and India.

NEMA’s Head of Press Unit, Manzo Ezekiel, who disclosed this to The Guardian, said an advanced team comprising the agency’s staff and other stakeholders are already in India, profiling the returnees gathered at the Nigerian High Commission in New Delhi.
