A stakeholder from Ilaje, High Chief Idowu Asonja, has congratulated the Engr. Charles Ogunmola on the confirmation of his appointment as the Executive Director, Projects, Niger Delta Development Commission.

The Nigerian Senate on Tuesday confirmed Charles Ogunmola from Ondo State as Executive Director, Projects, Niger/Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and other Nominees of President Muhammad Buhari.

Reacting to the development through a press statement on Tuesday, Asonja hailed the Red Chamber for its fairness and objectivity in the conduct of its affairs.

He also commended the president, Muhammadu Buhari, for his decision to nominate Engr. Charles Ogunmola whom he described as a round peg in a round hole.

He also urged Ogunmola to use the opportunity to continue to contribute his own quota to the development of the mandate areas as he also expressed his confidence that Ogunmola would not betray the trust reposed in him.
