Director, Remilekun International College, Gbagada, Lagos State, Ven. Tunde Oduwole, has called for national integration through the promotion of culture to make the country a better place to live in.

He made the call yesterday, during the 30th anniversary of Remilekun Nursery and Primary School and third anniversary of Remilekun International College.
Oduwole stressed the importance of cultural promotion, particularly from the grassroots level, adding: “It is imperative we promote our culture and national integration. This we should inculcate in our children, so that when they grow, they will promote nation building and national unity.”

Speaking on the schools’ development, he disclosed that the journey was not easy for the schools established by the late Mrs. Florence Oduwole.

“We are grateful to God for where we are today. The seed planted 30 years ago has germinated into a giant tree. The trajectory down the years has really not been easy, but, thankfully, we have made tremendous progress despite facing cash crunch and other society challenges. By April, our secondary section will be three years, and this we can say is a work in positive progress,” he said.
