Labour Party (LP) has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to cancel the election in the constituency of House of Representatives Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila, and nine others over omission of the party’s name and logo from the ballot paper.

The party demanded a re-run that must be conducted as soon as possible in Gbajabianila’s Surulere federal constituency 1 and other affected polling units in Ibeju Lekki, Kosofe, Somolu, Mushin, Lagos Mainland, Apapa, Lagos Island 2 and Ikorodu local councils.

The omission also affected the three senatorial districts in Lagos.
