
Speaking during the clearing and evacuation exercise monitored by the chairman of the board, Chief Douglas Okolotu, the member representing Delta North Senatorial District in the board, Mr. Jude Onya said that the state governor was passionate about the cleanliness of Asaba and its environs.
Onya, who said a proactive measure would be put in place to checkmate the activities of defaulters who dumped the waste on the roads, expressed the board’s readiness to put an end to the presence of filth littering the environment.
While urging residents to comply with the state environmental laws by registering with the Approved Private Sector Participants (PSPs), he assured of the readiness of the board to monitor the operation of the PSPs for effective result.
