With eight years experience and a formidable reputation in the UK, versatile singer, producer and instrumentalist, Nwaka Chiyem Olawale, better known as DJ Walz, has declared that he is in Nigeria to take over the Afrobeat genre.

The eccentric crowd puller DJ that specialises in Afrobeats, gospel, house, hip-hop, RnB, old school garage, and 90’s/ 80’s party classics, is one of the most unique talents in London, playing at big events and parties all over the UK.

Olawale revealed that he just released his new single he produced, but mixed by his younger brother, Jaylon. The song Berry features Afrobeat star, Rhymestar.

Having established himself as a competent professional with a unique style, the artiste who is also an entrepreneur speaks on his activities in the UK and plans for Nigeria.

“I am committed to discovering and promoting young Nigerian Afrobeat artistes. My coming is to showcase what stuff I am made of and I tell you, I am sure going to leave an indelible mark. I am not competing with anybody, but I respect Don Jazzy; I aspire to do better and take over the Afrobeat music scene.”
