“Being a chosen is the best thing that has ever happened to me”
My name is Uwaoma Clinton Chukwuma, by the grace of God, I am the brother in charge of one of branches of the Lord’s Chosen in South Korea. I joined The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries in 2007 in South Korea. Before then, I was attending about four churches. In each of these churches, l was made area leader and coordinator of foreign missions. It got to a stage, l decided that l would not continue like that, so l went into serious prayers for seven days so that God will show me where l would serve Him. However, after the prayer, l did not receive any answer. So l had to go into another session of prayer, in the midst of that prayer, l heard “charismatic revival,” twice, so l began to search for charismatic revival to no avail, at a time, something ministered to me to go to a particular restaurant where foreigners usually go to eat. So l went there, as soon as l entered there, l saw a Chosen sticker, and took the contact there and called the number and a brother picked and directed me to the church. I went there, as at that time, the church just started.

So l joined them and as soon as l entered the church and sat down, it was like dew was poured on my head. Then l heard the undiluted word of God, which l never heard before. l continued. But when l was attending the four churches, l was still drinking alcohol and working on Sundays. That day l located The Lord’s Chosen, after service l made up my mind that l would not work on Sundays again. Quickly, l went to my company where l was working and told my manager that l have found a church where l would be worshipping and therefore, would not be working on Sundays. Moreover, that on Tuesdays and Thursdays of every week, l would be closing my work at 6.00p.m instead of 8.00p.m because l would be going to church on these days, and my requests were granted. At this juncture, may I let you know that being a chosen is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Praise the Lord!

Brethren, it might interest you to know that since 2007 when l joined The Lord’s Chosen till now, l have neither come to service late nor missed any service. Moreover, since that time, l have not been to any hospital, God of Chosen has been my doctor. In 2002, before I came to The Lord’s Chosen, l made a vow to God that l would not have affairs with any woman except the woman God will give me as my wife, and coming to Chosen helped me to keep that vow and God crowned it by giving me a precious jewel from this ministry as my wife. Praise the Lord!

Since l heard from our G.O that he would not do this job alone, that we should join hands with him to do the job, l have been going from house to house, street to street, company to company preaching the gospel. There is no house they did not know me in the city where l live in South Korea. Even there in overseas, we do morning and evening cry. Praise the Lord!

In addition, l appreciate God for what He did for us during COVID-19 pandemic, during that time, all the churches in South Korea, were closed down but the Lord’s Chosen never closed for one day. Praise the Lord!

There was this fateful day, l received a call from the police that they were coming, l told them that l was in the church that they should come. Our church in South Korea is strategically positioned but at the end of the day, I did not see them, that is the doing of the Lord. During the COVID-19 pandemic, many people lost their lives, but no single soul was lost in our midst in South Korea. Praise the Lord!

Furthermore, l am grateful to God for shielding me from the hands of immigration officials in South Korea. That fateful day, l was about to go out but l heard a ministration that since that day was Tuesday and we have Service in the evening, l should study the outline, so l had to stay back and study the outline. It was in that process that the immigration officials came, but they did not touch my door while they swooped on other neighbours and took them away. Praise the Lord!

Moreover, l thank God for saving me from flood. That fateful day, there was terrible rainfall and everywhere was flooded and it entered houses including my own house, there was nowhere to run to, to worsen the situation, everything in my house began to shock. l shouted, God of Chosen, this is not the covenant you have with your servant, our G.O, suddenly there was a bang and power went off, then l entered the flood and began to swim and came out of the flood. Praise the Lord! For all that the Lord has done for me, l say may his name be glorified in Jesus name.
I pray for our G.O that God will continuously renew his youth and he will be like Moses whose eyes were not dimmed even at 120 years. May God provide him all he needs to fulfill the vision and mandate in Jesus name….Amen.
