A statement issued by Ajah, yesterday, in Abakaliki, noted that the curfew, which is intended to check the restiveness, took effect from 06:00 p.m., yesterday, till further notice.

He advised traditional and religious leaders, as well as town union executives to sensitise their subjects on the need to comply with the directive, stressing that violators would be dealt with.
