
The residents in a petition dated Monday, June 13, 2023 and signed by their lawyers Anthony Kadiri and D.E Durusaro of BlackOak Solicitors, Lagos, said two residents, a plumber, Femi Adeola and a commercial motorcyclist, Yusuf Idowu, were on Thursday, June 9, killed by the felons who go about breaching peace in the community fully armed with guns, axe and local charms.
The petition was copied to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ogun State governor, the Attorney General of Ogun State and Federal and State lawmakers.
The community through the petition noted that the incessant criminal actions of the hoodlums have truncated the smooth running of activities in the communities, adding that their lives are no longer safe.
Consequently, the residents are, however, seeking for a quick intervention by relevant security agencies to probe and apprehend the criminals in view to restoring normalcy in these communities.
While calling for a quick response, they however promised to work in synergy with security personnel by providing relevant information needed in apprehending the culprits when called upon.
