One of the dastardly and near-unforgivable acts before God is to mock those who are underprivileged in life. It is almost worse than witchcraft and constitutes an affront before their maker.
Acts of kindness these days seem scarcer than finding a stream of water in the desert but denigrading the poor and blaming their condition on their being lazy is a game a lot play. However, CEO of Nippon Group Limited, Quincy Peter Patrick, better known as Quincy Nippon, who is well familiar with both sides of life, is screaming the boomerang of toeing such path.
Quincy Nippon, born and raised in Aba, Abia State, attended Cameron Barracks Primary School and Wilcox Memorial Comprehensive Secondary School, both in the same town he grew up. He polished his passion for enterprise and started small at his level years ago. Through hardowk, dedication and vision, he has built one of the most sustainable business empires in Nigeria today.
Quincy Nippon’s company comprises Nippon Grand Hotel and Nippon Real Estate Limited. From a humble beginning, his companies have many Nigerian youths on their payroll, enabling his employees to sustain their families.
Quincy Nippon’s Grand Hotel located in Abuja, offers world-class services. The 54-room hotel is exquisitely furnished with provision for gym and cinema. It is ranked in top 30 of the 300 top competitors in the Federal Capital Territory and one of the best in Nigeria and Africa.
Nippon Real Estate Limited has moved to the vanguard of delivery of affordable and quality mass housing to Nigerians and it is one of the leading real estate companies on the continent. What has distinguished the realtor in the industry is the key values of trust, pedigree, integrity, customer-satisfaction and uncompromising standard.
Quincy Nippon has tasted both sides of life, which puts him in a position to give admonitions. He is one of the modest billionaires of this generation. To him, wealth is a tool given by God to whom he wills, with the purpose of lifting others with it. He is a close associate of Nigerian socialite, Obi Cubana, and several celebrities. But he is a man who has refused to change how he related with people down the ladder, in spite of how blessed he is.
In a lengthy post addressed to his former classmates on Instagram, he cautioned against loathing others who are yet to be successful, warning that those individuals can become great people tomorrow.
“DEAR CLASS MATE #cameron barracks primary school aba #cameronbarracksprimaryschoolaba #wilcox memorial comprehensive secondary school aba,” he wrote.
“Some of us didn’t further our education after Primary/secondary school some of us further to university some of us got married yet some of us are not married. Some of us are still struggling with life some of us are already settled.
“Some of us are still finding it difficult to eat two square meals in a day. Some of us have traveled abroad. Some of us went back to village, some of us have seen real hell and still facing hell some of us the last time we sat in a classroom was the last day we wrote our secondary school exams, in Short life is not cool to everyone.
“The fact that u are settled and doing well doesn’t mean others are in the same page with u when ever u call or run into your old classmate, let the conversation be simple!! That we are still alive should be a thing to celebrate.
“You can stress your hand and be a blessing to your fellow classmates instead of mocking them simple because you’re in a better position than them..Life is not predictable. Be Nice and stay alert and firm…One Love. God bless you,” added Quincy Nippon, who is also patron of Aba-based Nippon Grand Football Club.
