Otun Onigbagbo of Remo land, Ogun state, Aare Adetola Emmanuel-King has urged the newly inaugurated members of the 10th National Assembly representing Ogun State to use their positions as an avenue to initiate and sustain the growth and development of its people.
This statement was released today, while congratulating the newly inaugurated members of the 10th national assembly at their inauguration on the 13th of June.
Amongst the newly inducted senators are; Ogun West, Senator Olamilekan Adeola; Ogun East, Senator Gbenga Daniel and Ogun Central, Senator Salisu Shuiab.
While he also congratulated Hon. Adewunmi Onanuga, representing Ikenne/Sagamu, Remo North; Hon. Adegbesan Joseph, representing Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside; Hon. Olufemi Adeleke Ogunbanwo, representing Ijebu Ode/Odogbolu/Ijebu North East; Hon. Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka, representing Ifo/Ewekoro; Hon. Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, for Imeko Afon/Egbado North; Hon. Olumide Osoba, for Abeokuta North/Obafemi- Owode/Odeda; Hon. Abiodun Isaq Akinlade, representing Egbado South and Ipokia; Hon. Afolabi Afuape for Abeokuta South and Hon. Tunji Akinosi, representing Ado-Odo/Ota.
Emmanuel-King, who is also the Chief executive officer (CEO), Adron Homes and Properties Limited, in his congratulatory message, encouraged the new-elects to hand down the benefits of democracy to the people, whom they now represent at the top-tier of governance, so as to improve their living conditions in collaboration with the State’s government under the leadership of Governor Dapo Abiodun.
The statement read, “I want them to attract positive development that will directly improve the well being of their constituents and also consolidate on the efforts of Governor Dapo Abiodun in bringing Ogun State an accelerated development in all sectors.
“This is an opportunity to serve the people and also show that the mandate given to each of them will be put to good use. Regardless of our party differences, we must work together to ensure that our dear State soars higher in terms of social amenities and capacity building.”
