Prophet Emmanuel Ayobami Ariyo of Shekinah Covenant Churches Worldwide, has called on Nigerians to hold on to God in everything they do and also to believe in His ability to change things.
He also said that with fervent prayers the country would excel.
The cleric who disclosed this, last Sunday, while celebrating his 18th anniversary on the pulpit and birthday in Lagos, noted that at a period like this, children of God need to wait upon the Lord, especially in their little beginning to find out the next level God is taking them to.

Ariyo, who is an Eminent Peace Ambassador (UN), went further to say that for God to arise and restore His glory to mankind, the people need to diligently seek Him for his intervention.
Quoting 2 Chronicles 7:14, he urged Nigerians to earnestly pray for their leaders and for good governance.
He said: “We need to hold on to God at the level we are now and in the next level that God is taking us to.”
Thanking God for the grace given to him these 18 years on the pulpit, Ariyo added: “l never knew I would be called a preacher because all my life, I wanted to be a banker. But God, who called me, had a different plan for me, and today we have branches.”
In her goodwill message, Mrs. Ope Ariyo, described the cleric as an exceptional man of God who is humble and loves everyone around him. She prayed that God would continue to renew the strength of the servant of God as well as take him to greater heights in his ministry.
A member of the church, Abiodun Awosusi, also described him as a father, friend, an encourager and leader. He urged him not to relent in serving God and bringing more souls to Christ.
The event featured songs ministration, cutting of birthday cake, chorography and prayers for the prophet and his family.
