Merge Foundation has urged youths to embrace their self-discovery journey and be wary of time management to add value to themselves and society.

Its founder, Mayowa Oke, gave the charge during the first edition of Merge Mega Teens Summit with the theme ‘Acquire, Purpose, Purity and Success’, held in Lagos.

Addressing over 500 Students from 25 schools, Oke, expressed the foundation’s readiness to help them reduce stereotypes, religious and ethnic discrimination, as well as grow their skills and contribute to society.

He advised the youth to love and accept themselves for who they are, adding that they were uniquely created with treasures for greatness.
Co–host and Head of counseling, Merge Foundation, Made Oke-Mayowa, urged the youths to live up to their dreams.
“You should be confident, open-minded and adaptable. Society can place impeding hurdles before you that make some goals appear unrealistic, but you should keep on pushing till you attain greatness.”

A youth leader, Daniel Dieyi, said he learned more about how to avoid procrastination and sexual immorality.

kinniyi Akinwande, a researcher, said: “We were advised to abstain from abuses of substances such as alcohol, narcotic drugs and other substances. I appreciate the foundation and partners for making the event mind-blowing and a huge success.”
