A visit to Calvary

At this time, all of us must re-examine ourselves to actually know if we are still standing as believers. The way things are going on earth today, many have left the real thing and are busy pursuing shadows. Majority of the preachers, today, no longer preach about Calvary.

They have introduced modernism to their preaching to suit what the people of the world want to hear. Hear this, every other thing can be modernised, but the path to Calvary cannot.

Calvary is the way to the cross that will lead to eternal home with Jesus Christ. Many have fallen out of faith, but still parading themselves as believers. Also many so-called general overseers, general superintendents and other church leaders that are demons in human form standing on their demonic altars claiming to be Christian leaders have watered down the message of the Calvary, while introducing their own messages to lead people astray.

They encourage their members to dress the way they like to the church after all, God does not look at the outward appearance, but inward they would say.

From the text of this message (John 3:3), Jesus Christ spoke expressly to Nicodemus that except a man be born again, he cannot see God’s kingdom. No other way will take a man to God’s kingdom, except if he is born again. Being born again is the only qualification and Jesus Christ made it point clear. The so-called church leaders, preachers, church workers and other religious people might say otherwise in their messages, but no man has what it takes to change or alter the qualification written down in the scriptures for accessing God’s kingdom.

What does it mean to be born again? It is a state of bringing a dead man in sin to life (Eff. 2:1). A sinner is a dead man, but if he will run to Calvary, he will experience a new life (John 5:24). There are two means by which we must be born again. They are being born of water and of the spirit (John 3:5). Water in this context is symbolic, it represents the word of God and the spirit is the spirit of God in man. It is only a visit to Calvary that will give one that experience, not by attending many crusades and church programmes.

From the time of Jesus Christ till date, attending crusades has never produced born again experience and neither crossing over from one denomination to the other will do it. You need to be born again in a scriptural manner. There will be a great disappointment on the last day because many that think they are born again will miss out (Lk. 13:1-5). Those that claim to be born again will go to different mountains to pray, but never get any answer. It is high time we drop modernised born again and engage in a scriptural born again if we want to enter into God’s kingdom.

Those that claim to be born again, but still peddle lies, carry false information, gossip, commit all sort of evil and still speak in tongues will perish on the last day. A sinner is dead in trespasses and is waiting for eternal damnation if he/she fails to repent.

No sinner will bribe God as a worker, church leaders or the so-called general overseers. God needs us for His services, but we must do it in line with His standard (Lk 10:40-42). We must at all times examine ourselves to know if we are still born again or not. That God uses you today does not guarantee that you are born again, that you manifest anointing does not mean that you are born again, for the scriptures says: “For the gift and calling of God are without repentance,” (Rom 11:29; 2 Cor 13:5). You know a born again Christian by his/her actions, character and behaviour (Ps 15:1-5).

Scriptural born again is scarce in the world, today, because we attach much interest in worldly things and lose interest in eternity with God. We must always live our lives with eternity in view. We have two groups in the world today, those that are born of the flesh and those that are born of the spirit (John 3:6). What is your interest in the church? To pull down or to build?

Those who are not born again will end up in the lake of fire (Rev.14:10-11; 16:18-19; 18:5-8; 20:10-15; 19:20; 21:8-27) and the question is: “Is your name written in the Book of Life? The consequences of rejecting what was handed over to man on the cross at Calvary will be so severe. A wise man will not play with his soul; the standard of God has not changed and will not change. This is the ancient landmark and any man that will tamper with it will carry eternal mark of destruction. Visit Calvary today and get born again.
