Isaiah 61:1-3, “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2: To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; 3: To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.”
Freedom from the bondage of the devil and his human agents has been the primary heart desire of every human being whether he/she is a Christian or not. From the day of the fall of man from glory of God in the Garden of Eden as a result of Satan’s deceit to sin, to the present day, man has been in captivity of the devil through sin. If any man is committing sin, he is bound to the devil. At the same time, a debtor is in bondage to his creditor. There are people who serve as slaves (servants) to other people, whether bought or dedicated in any way, they are enslaved and remain in lawful captive of their masters.
Fortunately enough, God has set out a special year and month for the delivery of people in all different kinds of enslavement. In the lead scripture, God has anointed our Lord Jesus Christ to preach good news to the humble, bind up the broken hearted, proclaim liberty to the captives, open the prison gates to them that are bound and proclaim an acceptable of the Lord. It should be noted that our Lord Jesus Christ suspended the reading of this scripture in the Synagogue at Nazareth (Lk.4:16-21) with the word, “year of the Lord.” The first advent, therefore, opened the day of grace, “the acceptable year of the Lord,” but does not fulfill the day of vengeance, which will be accomplished when the Messiah returns (2nd Thess.1:7-10).
The acceptable year of the Lord is the year of jubilee when the land is allowed to rest, there will not be cultivation in the land. The people will eat what grows on its own. In this year, debts are cancelled and slaves are freed and returned to their families. At the end of every jubilee year, no one remains in debt of any kind or as a slave but freedom granted to all.
According to God’s directives, every seven years, the Israelites are to give freedom to the land by not cultivating on it but eat from the crops and fruits of the trees that grow on their own. When they are harvested the proceeds are to serve as food for everybody including animals. The strangers on visit are to share from it. Nobody harvests and keeps for himself. At the count of forty-nine years, the trumpet of jubilee will be blown while the celebration takes place at the fiftieth year. At this round of fifty years all debts are cancelled, slaves are freed and returned to their families. Any slave who on his own refuses to go back to his or her family remains a slave forever. People are to give helping hands of gifts to their friends and neighbours to mark the celebration of the jubilee. The Bible confirms this in Leviticus 25:1-12 for reason of space read it on your own.
The first advent of our Lord Jesus Christ fulfilled the year of grace, which is the jubilee but not of vengeance. The year of vengeance will be fulfilled when the Lord returns for the white throne judgment as presented in Matthew 25:31-40 saying, “When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34: Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37: Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? Or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38: When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? Or naked, and clothed thee? 39: Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40: And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”This is the white throne judgment.
However, this judgment of the individual Gentiles is to be distinguished from other judgments in the scripture, such as the judgment of the church (2nd Cor.5:10-11), the judgment of Israel (Ezek.20:33-36), and the judgment of the wicked after the millennium (Rev.20:11-15). The time of this judgment is when the Lord returns in His glory with the saints after the great tribulation. The subject of this judgment is all nations (the Gentiles) living on earth. There are three classes of individuals that are involved: 1) the sheep, representing the saved Gentiles, 2) goats, standing for the unsaved Gentiles, and 3) brethren, representing the people of Israel. The scene is on the earth and no books are opened as it deals with the living not the dead. The test of this judgment is the treatment of fellow individuals here on earth, the people whom our Lord Jesus Christ calls the brethren. The practice of practical righteousness in Christianity and the lessons from jubilee come into play here.
As Christians we are to be our brother’s keeper and helper by giving and helping out in times of need. There are people who do not have and their major problems are how to get something for the next meal, the clothes to wear, etc, giving a helping hand to such people is exactly what our Lord Jesus Christ wants the privileged brethren to be doing. If it is possible the privileged brethren can help establish such people by helping them have means of livelihood so as to fend for themselves. The more you give out to the needy the more God blesses you. The Bible is emphatic in Luke 6:31, 36-38 saying, “And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. 36: Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. 37: Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: 38: Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
All human beings are God’s creatures. Our Lord Jesus Christ wants us to treat everyone the way we want them to treat us (do to others what you want them to do unto you). This is what is called the golden rule. According to the Lord’s Chosen calendar, we are in the month of Jubilee for the captives; this period should be used to show love to the people around you, especially the brethren. It is time to forgive whoever that offended you, give out gifts of clothes, food, money, etc, to people in line with your capacity. There are debtors who may not have the means to pay back, cancelling the debt is releasing such person from bondage of debt. You can do that if there are such people in your list. God is counting all these and they will come into play on the day of judgment. When you remember the needy and help out, God will bless you the more and at the end of this life, the good you did will stand and testify for you.
I Would Not Have Joined Chosen If Not This Dream
Prov.16v25 says, ”There is a way that seemth right unto a man but the end thereof, are the ways of death.”
SISTER Doris has been very zealous in serving the Lord. She had her own ministry and has been going for evangelism, preaching the gospel, at some times, she would join her twin sister who is a member of The Lord’s Chosen to go to places to plant Chosen branches. However, she did not deem it fit to be a member of Chosen. She felt comfortable going to other churches and concentrating on her ministry. With all the years she spent in these other churches and her ministry, God never considered her efforts worthwhile to even build a small bungalow for her in heaven. Few weeks ago, she visited ‘The Lord’s Chosen’ as usual, and gave testimony of what God did for her. After the testimony she went back, with the intention of going back to her ministry, lo and behold, God gave her this revelation.
Testimony Of The Lord’s Doing
Her Testimony/Revelation
My name is Sister Chibugo Doris Mba. I reside at Iba Estate, and testified last Tuesday. Now, I am here again. That Tuesday I testified, the moderator asked me, since all these years I have been following the Lord’s Chosen, why did I not become a full member of Chosen? I had my reasons though, but this encounter has nullified whatever reasons l had. I had encounter with the angel of God in my dream some days ago. In that encounter, the angel of God grabbed me and told meto look up to heaven. I looked up and saw the heaven opened and the angel showed me a mighty tower containing many houses and said to me that the tower belonged to the General Pastor of the Lord’s Chosen (C.R.M). The tower was very big, I have not seen such tower before. I asked the angel ‘what about my own?’ The angel just showed me an empty land that they just cleared and were digging foundation. I asked why should my own be an empty land just cleared, that I repented long time ago and have been evangelising, the angel said if l want to have that kind of tower with houses. I should join the God of Chosen, go for evangelism, plant churches all over the world, that through that, l will have any type of house that l want. I was not happy in that dream, suddenly I woke up. Since then, l have been troubled. Moreover, G.O and Mummy G.O met my brother in the dream and told him to tell me that two of us should join The Lord’s Chosen and begin to evangelise. After this encounter, l had to go to the Salon to remove the foreign hair on my head and plait my natural hair. Now that I am carrying a Chosen hair style for the first time in my life. Praise the Lord!
Meanwhile, in January this year, God told me to close my ministry in Nigeria and relocate to Togo. So l relocated to Togo from Iba Estate in Nigeria on January 29, 2023, and l have gathered a lot of people in my ministry to the glory of God. I have been going to other churches, but never had the kind of encounter I experienced in the Lord’s Chosen, God of Chosen is so great. What I will do now is, when l travel back to Togo, all my members in my ministry will be drafted to The Lord’s Chosen. Praise the Lord! I did not know that all this while, l have been wasting time, thinking l was working for God. I will like to have my own mansion in heaven and that is why l have decided to obey the instruction of the angel. Praise the Lord!
