Popular DJ, Dj Brightstar has urged the nigerian government to look into the widespread of hard drugs among youths.
The young energetic DJ expressed deep concern over the use of hard drugs among youths which he said has become rampant and killed a lot while some have lost their mental health.
He noted that the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency(NDLEA) needs to focus on how these drugs are being imported and supplied into the country.
“They must first look at the ones that are imported into the country then monitor the supply chain down to the final consumers. Drugs has done so much harm to the youths that we consider the leaders of tomorrow,” he said.
“There’s a recent trend on the internet where we see videos of young people wasting their lives due to hard drugs and the government has refused to say or do much about it. Even if we have some homemade drugs here why not intervene and stop this illegality before it ruins our youth?
“I also plead with the youths to imitate good deeds. A lot of us find ourselves in it due to peer pressure and copying their parents and friends.”
