In a recent turn of events within the BBNaija All Stars house, veteran Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has come out in defense of contestant Ilebaye, shedding light on the emotional toll that standing up for oneself can take.

Ilebaye, known for her outspoken nature, found herself embroiled in a verbal and physical altercation with another housemate, CeeC, which resulted in her pulling Ceec’s wig.

This incident caught the attention of viewers, Iyabo Ojo included, and she took to Instagram to show support for her favorite housemates.

In her Instagram post she wrote; “@official_mercyeke is my baby girl any day, anytime I’m rooting for her
but this @ilebayeee, i kind of like her too…….. standing up for yourself can sometimes be very stressful, affecting how you react or control your emotions…
… growth will teach
her with time, but for now, @bigbronaija, please don’t send her home yet ….. i apologize on her behalf. A strike will do. I’m begging 000 a shinning star you too, control your temper bikonu o”

Ilebaye, who had been at odds with several other housemates, pulled Ceec’s wig and pushed her during the confrontation.

Big Brother addressed the housemates and stated that the rulebook states that any housemate who is caught physically violent with another housemate will be disqualified. Biggie said: “Ilebaye, you have read the rulebook, yet you chose to be violent. Ilebaye is not the only guilty party. Ceec, for walking back into a violent situation, Big Brother found you guilty.

“For laying your hands on a fellow housemate, Biggie finds you guilty of physical violence. You are hereby issued a double strike. One more strike and you will be immediately disqualified. You will be issued a punishment if you survive today’s eviction.”

Biggie also barred Ilebaye and Ceec from participating in the Head of House (HOH) game and the Save Me Please (SMP) nomination. This means that they will not be eligible to compete for HOH or to be saved by other housemates’ nomination from possible eviction. This makes both of them vulnerable to eviction next week Sunday.
