A budding artiste, singer, producer and content creator, Silver Emenike, aka InternationalBOY, has teamed up with a popular disc jockey, DJ Neptune, for a song, titled, ‘Lagos’.

InternationalBOY, who is signed to Lahor Music, noted that the song is an ode to Lagos, which he described as ‘Africa’s entertainment capital’.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the single, the Port Harcourt, Rivers State-born singer, said: “The song has a catchy and feel-good vibe heavily driven by synth, percussion and kicks, while exploiting the amapiano sound, which I believe would create an instant connection and ‘eargasm’ for listeners. It is a harmonious blend of afrobeats rhythms and contemporary sounds. South Africa-based Chaffrizzerr produced it, and we had a good time making it.

“On the song, I explore uncharted musical territories. The sound defies classification, transcendent cultural confines, and resonates universally. My eyes are set on captivating the world.”

InternationalBOY, who is a graduate of the University of Calabar, added, “as a singer, I don’t like to be put in a box. My versatility not only underscores my artistic prowess, I also believe it will establish me as a dynamic force in the music industry.”

On his part, DJ Neptune stated that he got to know about the singer when the latter made a ‘cover’ version of his song, ‘Count Your Blessings’.

He said: “After listening to his version of ‘Count Your Blessings’, I knew that he had an incredible talent that the world needs to hear. That was why I was open to working with him.”
