Experts from different fields have charged youths to be resilient while attaining higher goal on their career path.
They gave this charge at a one day workshop, “The Felitovian Quarter,” organised by a Public Relation (PR) firm, Felitovia.
The workshop with the theme, “Raising a community of the finest industry experts” had experts like Tolu Aribisola, a skilled and communication specialist; Spa and Wellness expert, Jade Philips and General Manager at Park Inn by Radisson, Rita Opiah.
The aim of the workshop was to promote empowerment through career advancement and wellness, create opportunities and provide resources in the form of mentorship that will help people feel more empowered and confident in their personal and professional roles.
A PR specialist at Felitovia, Esther Uche Ukandu, said the fulfilment is basically for people to be better refined than they are, to get people to have a better career path, and for them to know why they are doing what they do because if they are not on the right profession, there will be a problem.
She added that the workshop was to help people understand what they are doing in their professions.
“The ultimate goal is to balance their work life, to put it at the level that they will be happy with themselves doing what they are doing because when they are at that stage, they will be more productive,” Ukandu stated.
The experts who spoke at the workshop charged the youths to set their goals straight and be focused at what they do.
Opiah urged the youths to be focused on their passion.
“They should find their career, be original, have the right attitude and character. With that, the sky will be their limit,” she declared.
