President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated renowned journalist, author and publisher, Chief Areoye Oyebola, on his 80th birthday. He extolled the celebrant, who variously served as Editor of Daily Times, Commissioner in Western Region and on board of several public and private institutions.

In a statement yesterday by his Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, the President acknowledge veteran journalist’s patriotism and commitment towards nation building.

Buhari commended the untiring efforts of Oyebola in contributing to the development of Nigeria through the writing of many articles and books over the years.(NGO), Movement for Nigeria’s Total Transformation (MNTT).

The President prayed that the almighty God would grant the celebrant longer life, good health and more strength in his service to the nation and humanity.
