Victor Osimhen is set for his 20th European continental game when Napoli bids to make the perfect start to their Champions League group-stage campaign when they travel to Braga on Wednesday night.

Osimhen has so far played 19 matches in European club competitions, netting twice in five Champions League matches for former club, LOSC Lille before joining Napoli in the summer of 2020.

Since making the move to Napoli, the Nigerian striker has scored four goals and made an assist in eight Europa League outings.

The Nigerian international striker has also found the back of the net five times in six Champions League appearances for the Partenopei.

But as Napoli faces Braga at the Estadio Municipal de Braga, Osimhen will go all out to help his club secure victory in their group opener.

The 24-year-old will also be eager to put an end to a two-game goal drought, having failed to net in a 2-1 defeat against Lazio and last weekend’s 2-2 draw with Genoa in the Serie A.
