Lagos ex-Heads of Service mark week

Dr. Femi Olugbile

President, Association of Lagos State Retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries (ALARHOSPS), Dr. Femi Olugbile, has said that a nation’s development is accelerated based on its human resources capacity and not on its huge natural resources.

Olugbile stated this, yesterday, at a press briefing to announce activities for the 2023 ALARHOSPS week and 10th anniversary.

He said activities planned for the week include a parley between the older, much respected retired civil servants with the serving senior officers, aimed at having a positive impact on the viability of the civil service over time.

Other activities, according to him, include religious celebration in the mosque on Friday and in church on Sunday.

“We shall be demonstrating the value and necessity for physical exercise for all citizens by undertaking a road walk. Our intervention projects, designed to directly impact the lives of our people and which every year are carried out in a different part of the state, will be in Lekki and Epe. This year, we have rehabilitated the assembly hall of Epe Grammar School and will donate eight steel and double fly doors to Community High School, Ibeju-Lekki.”

Olugbile said the week would end 0n September 29 with a get-together.
