Hundreds of fans gathered in Makurdi metropolis to pay tributes to the late Afrobeat star, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

The fans, who were all clad in black, marched around the metropolis from Judges Quarters, through Gyado villa, the Benue State university, the Benue Links park, Wurukum, and terminated at the City Bays Garden.

Some of the fans carried the late musician’s portrait and chanted his name. The procession culminated in an all-night concert in his honour at the City Bay Park.

Mohbad reportedly passed away on September 12 in controversial circumstances.

His death sparked fury across the country, with calls on the police authorities to investigate the death of the music star .
