United Nations POLAC Foundation has inducted Prince Segun Obayendo as its newest Peace Ambassador. The honour was bestowed on him at a ceremony held on September 23  at the Banquet Hall of Airport Hotel in Lagos.

In a statement, the organisation said: “This prestigious appointment marks a significant milestone in the ongoing global efforts to promote peace, diplomacy, and humanitarian causes.”

Obayendo is Group Managing Director/CEO of Temple Group Limited, the pioneer computerised vehicle inspection services in Nigeria.

According to the statement, he has long been committed to fostering harmony among nations and communities.

“His unwavering dedication to humanitarian causes and his tireless work in conflict resolution, especially his promotion of Nigerian languages through his Segun Obayendo Foundation, have earned him this esteemed role.”

In his acceptance speech, Obayendo expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve as a Peace Ambassador.
